Questions
What does the Orange Dot mean at Dollar General?
The orange dot is one of the symbols Dollar General prints on clearance shelf tags. Shoppers use it to find items from the same clearance group. Dollar General doesn’t publish an official meaning, so this page tracks which items carry the orange dot and whether they’ve pennied.
Are Orange Dot items a penny yet?
Not yet. None of the 2 Orange Dot items we track are a penny at the stores we check. Scan the UPC in the Dollar General app to check your store.
